This was a lovely event whereby a currach, made from scratch by participants from the said Organisations, and partially funded by the CESCA Grassroot grants scheme, was launched at City Quarter, Lapp’s Quay on October 12th. The boat is called Antonia in honour of Sr Antonia of the Presentation order, and representatives from her family were in attendance. Well done to everyone that was involved in this project.
